Economic Messages of Candidates

The time has come to take stronger actions in my bid for the Governors seat in Montana. Since entering this race I have constantly pushed messages I would like to get across to my fellow Montanans. These messages for the most part have been more in the line of promotion of the ideas than they have been against any one particular candidate. My campaign will continue to in this path because it is all about the message. In doing so the time does come when even I have to point out differences between myself and other candidates and point to what I see as flaws in what they are saying. I will not however make personal attacks against my fellow candidates, although I am sure they won't be able to avoid such measures. With this I must point out what I see as a few important issues. I have for nine months pushed the issue of boosting our economy and jobs. I am a firm believer to salvage our economic problems that job creation is of major importance. Yes JOBS, JOBS, JOBS. In the past months others have started in on this same line. There is a large difference between us though. I have pointed to things which would actually create jobs. Now I ask where and what jobs are they creating. Also the comment has been made by candidates that we must boost the economy in order to create jobs. This is only part true, and is trickle down economics. We can not wait for the pocket books of large business to grow in order to create jobs. We are at a point where we must go on the offensive when dealing with our economy. Setting a stage for current businesses to do better is a must true enough. We must also open up markets for other businesses to be created, thus creating jobs and as these businesses grow so will the job market. In giving even the smallest of our people (pocket book wise) the chance to do something for them self without over restrictive regulations we create jobs on the ground level even before we see what many consider economic growth. But it is growth all the same. These new jobs create products and services which will begin to bring in income for our people which will help them pay bills and have extra to spend in current markets. This is building a sound economy. As it is in the construction world, You can not build a house from the roof down to the foundation (That is how trickle down economics work). A house or the economy  must be build from the foundation up.

Ron Vandevender, i agree with your take on this. Most times the promises we get from most candidates are all lies. they promise us Jobs, but we don't get them at alast
